Expense document tools for HR expense claims · Last updated 19 October 2026

In short

1What this extension is

This extension is an internal tool for staff of the organisation that installs it. It adds download buttons and one display column to the organisation's own HR site, and produces the organisation's expense documents — the claim voucher, the advance request form, the advance settlement form, the bank payment file, the accounting entry file and the turnaround-time reports — from the data the HR site already shows.

2What it does not do

The extension does not send your data anywhere. There is no server operated by the developer. There are no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no accounts and no profiling. No data is sold, rented or transferred to any third party. The extension never writes to, approves, rejects, edits or submits anything in the HR system.

3What it reads

While you are on your organisation's HR site and signed in as yourself, the extension reads the expense and advance information the page already displays, and requests the same expense details from the HR system's own interface that the page itself requests. Every such request is read-only.

If you paste a spreadsheet address into the extension's settings, the extension reads that sheet's CSV export using your existing Google sign-in, in your own browser. These sheets supply columns the HR system does not hold — employee email address, department, bank account number and IFSC code — and a mapping of expense category to expense type. The extension only reads these sheets; it never changes them.

4Where the data goes

Nowhere but your own computer. Each document is assembled in your browser and saved as a file by your browser's normal download. The information inside it exists only in the page you are looking at and the file you save.

5What is stored

Only your own settings: which features are switched on, whether the tools are unlocked, and the two spreadsheet addresses you entered. These are held in the browser's extension storage on your computer, and in your browser profile sync if you have sync switched on. No employee data is stored by the extension.

6Permissions, and why each is needed

PermissionWhy it is requested
Your HR site To read the expense screens already open in front of you and to add the download buttons. This is the only site the extension works on.
Google Sheets To read the spreadsheets whose addresses you choose to enter, for the columns the HR system does not hold.
Storage To remember the settings described in clause 5.

No other permission is requested, and no code is loaded from outside the extension package.

7Children

The extension is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
